Em relação ás categoria de melhor filme e realizador não me posso pronunciar pois dos cinco filmes nomeados ainda só vi "Crash" e "Good Night, and Good Luck". No entantoAng Lee e o seu Brokeback Moutain" têm arrecadado os mais variados prémios de cinema incluindo os globos de ouro e chegam assim aos óscares como os favoritos ao titulo. Quanto ao melhor filme de animação, não me lembro de um ano que tivesse tão bons nomeados, qualquer um deles é um grande filme, mas como fã de Burton aposto em "Corpse Bride".
Para o prémio de melhores efeitos especiais, "King Kong" é sem duvida o melhor dos candidatos, apesar dos efeitos especiais de "War of Worlds" também serem muito bons.


Os vencedores serão revelados no dia 5 de março, domingo, no Kodak Theatre, em Hollywood.
